The Africa Shop.com is the brainchild of Lea-anne Smith and Hugo Ripley, both of whom share a love and passion for all things African. Both have an intimate knowledge of the African artistic design world after many years of travelling the continent and talking to the wonderful artists who live there.

All the products and gifts you see on these pages have been lovingly sourced from a variety of African locations where expert crafts' men and women have combined their extensive knowledge of design with their love of their craft. In many cases, reclaimed materials have been ingeniously used to create beautiful objects ... look no further than out gorgeous wooden photo frames which otherwise would still be lying around on an African beach as driftwood!
